Rui C Carvalho is an independent Consultant in Risk and Fraud Management and a Development Director at EAST (European Association for Secure Transactions) where he also chairs the EAST Payment Task Force.
He holds a Master Degree in Electrical Engineering and has over 20 years of experience in detecting, preventing and investigating Electronic Payment and Telecommunications Fraud.
He has held positions within several companies in the telecommunications, IT, banking and processing institutions in Europe.
He is currently dedicated to training and conference speaking and is involved in several innovative International projects in the Physical and Virtual Electronic Payment areas.

Duarte Conceição CTO & Deputy CEO @ Contisystems
Duarte has over 17 years of international experience in VC & Private-Equity backed businesses holding CTO, Deputy CEO and Board roles.
Starting in 2000 with Altran Group as a software developer, he then went on to join Contiforme in 2001, leading technology projects for MillenniumBCP, Santander, Barclays, Montepio Geral, BES and also the first Digital Certification project in the Portuguese Government for the Parliament.
Between 2002 and 2004 he also managed the @DAN project in Portugal for the European Commission, developing high security payment platforms to support the digital economy based on the first UMTS handsets.
In 2009, Duarte led the spin-out of Contisystems from Contiforme, creating a company focusing on developing software and technologies in the IoT and RFID space. The success of this spin-out led the Chairman of the Group to re-merge the businesses, appointing Duarte as CTO at Contiforme, now with the name Contisystems, which is now producing millions of financial statements for individuals, companies and banks.

With a degree in Product Design, started working in 2007 as a graphic designer, moving on to Web Design and falling in love with the world of Digital Marketing.
Worked as an account manager, getting into online advertising solutions, community management and social media techniques.
Later, moved to Lisbon, and followed the dream to work in big corporate environments, starting in the telecommunications (NOS), and later in the finance/banking industry (BNP Paribas).
At the moment, Isabel works happily at an international startup of software development (NUXEO), making sure the customer has the best engagement and User Experience possible!
In 2014, looking to understand the UX industry in Portugal & empower women in tech, Isabel founded the Lisbon community of Ladies That UX® (worldwide community started in Manchester).
Catarina Guerrinha Product Manager @ SIBS
With experience in payments area, Catarina Guerrinha has been Product Manager of SIBS
Forward Payment Solutions for seven years, having been responsible for the development of
new products, such as MB WAY.
Previously, as project manager of CGI, she developed projects to evolve business support
applications and process reengineering taking into account business objectives and
technological evolution. From 2001 to 2005, Catarina Guerrinha developed similar functions
at ACE Bnet as a functional analyst, being responsible for the site and intranet
